Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the use of MapMo (the "Service") provided by BYJW.Studio (the "Company"), and the rights and obligations between the Company and users.

2. Service Description

MapMo is a desktop and mobile web service that lets users record pins, areas, and distance memos on Kakao Map to organize personal field-scouting activities. Users sign in with Google or Apple accounts.

3. Eligibility

• Users must be at least 14 years old.
• Authentication is performed through Google or Apple.
• You may not use the Service by impersonating others.

4. User Obligations

• Do not store content that violates the law or public morals.
• Do not upload content that infringes another person's privacy, copyright, or portrait rights.
• Do not interfere with the Service's operation (e.g. automated bots, excessive requests, server attacks).
• Keep your sign-in credentials and tokens secure.

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the pins, memos, photos, and areas that you upload or create. The Company processes your content only as necessary to operate the Service (storage, display, backup).

6. Service Changes & Discontinuation

The Company may change or temporarily/permanently discontinue parts of the Service for improvement or operational reasons. For permanent discontinuation, we will give advance notice and provide users an opportunity to export their data.

7. Disclaimer

• The Company will respond promptly to disruptions caused by force majeure, communications failures, or third-party service outages (Google, Apple, Kakao, Supabase, Vercel), but disclaims liability for damages caused by external factors beyond its control.
• The Company does not warrant the accuracy of listing information, market prices, or field-scouting notes that users record. Real-estate transaction and investment decisions are made at the user's own risk.
• The Company does not warrant the accuracy or currency of maps, POIs, or search results provided by Kakao Maps.

8. Account & Content Deletion

Users may delete their account at any time, which permanently removes all associated content. Email byjw.studio@gmail.com to request account deletion.

The Company may suspend or delete an account after prior notice in the following cases:

• Verified violation of these Terms or applicable law
• Dormant for over 1 year without sign-in

9. Fees

MapMo is offered free of charge. Paid features, if introduced in the future, will be announced in advance.

10. Changes to Terms

The Company may amend these Terms with prior notice. Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may discontinue use of the Service.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court of first instance in the Company's place of business.
